Aircraft Maintenance Licence - AML

    Regulations and documentation

For students enrolling from the 2021/22 academic year, the Bachelor's and Master's degree courses in Aerospace Engineering will offer the option of a specific curriculum aimed at acquiring basic knowledge and skills in the field of aircraft maintenance.

Students who have successfully completed this course will receive, on request, a paper and digital Examination Credit Certificate (ECC) (open badge), thanks to which they can apply to ENAC for the recognition of the credits necessary to fulfil the basic knowledge requirements.

The ECC is issued on the basis of passing the examinations with the marks specified in the Appendix. If not all of the above examinations have been taken/passed, or if they have been passed with a mark lower than the minimum mark indicated, an ECC may be issued with the debt of the missing examination(s) also recognised by the Aviation Authority.

Students who have examinations or CFUs in arrears and wish to recover them in order to complete the process and obtain the full Examination Credit Certificate (ECC), may enrol in individual courses and acquire the corresponding CFUs, in accordance with the University's regulations in force for enrolment in individual courses activated within degree programmes.

Anyone who has obtained a bachelor's and/or master's degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the 2021/2022 academic year and who meets the above criteria may request the issue of an ECC from the Coordinator of the Aeronautics and Astronautics degree courses by filling in the ECC request form and sending it, together with all the attachments, to the following e-mail address: This email address is being protected from spambots.
