The application for participation in the selection process should be written on plain paper declaring the following details:

  • Surname, forename, place and date of birth, citizenship;
  • Possession of the academic qualification referred to in Article 2 of the Call with an indication of the PhD program and its duration, the issuing University or Higher Education Institution;
  • Date on which the PhD degree is expected to be awarded and the PhD thesis main topic;
  • Institutional e-mail address, which is mandatory for communications related to the Call.

The application must be dated, signed (failure to do so will result in exclusion) and accompanied by:

  • Curriculum Vitae et Studiorum, in European format and in English, duly signed;
  • PhD program enrollment certificate (complete with enrollment number);
  • Copy of a valid identity document (passport for non-EU applicants);
  • Letters of Recommendation from academic or professional references; • Motivational letter in English (max 1 page).

The application must be submitted, under penalty of exclusion, by 15:00 (CET) on the 15th of July 2024.

The documents to be enclosed in electronic format, must be in PDF/A format (compliant with ISO 19005-1), sent via email from the institutional account to the email address, stating in the email subject, "NAME - SURNAME, admission to the DII4ET 2024 PhD School".
